Our vision is one of “We the People” working out our common lives and destines together. We cannot realize that vision alone. IPLW works to promote and enrich the concept and culture of public work however we can.
IPLW Organizing seeks:

To bring together groups of diverse partners in sustained learning partnerships for comparing experiences and expanding each other’s understanding of public work in different settings

To be the worldwide clearinghouse of public-work thinking and practice

To promote and coordinate the work and efforts of kindred spirits (individual and corporate) committed to building the civic muscle of their communities, institutions, and societies

To catalyze interest in the public-work paradigm, and to celebrate, disseminate, and learn from the work of every person, group, community, and institution that embodies or adopts it anywhere in the world.
